Home Schooler Learning Programme
Designed especially for home-schooled children, this engaging programme at the Hundertwasser Art Centre with Wairau Māori Art Gallery offers a unique opportunity to explore art, culture and creativity in an inspiring setting.
Each session is carefully crafted to encourage:
Art appreciation – Encounter stunning exhibitions and thought-provoking artworks
Child-led discussions – Share ideas, ask questions and explore themes through meaningful conversation
Hands-on creativity – Engage in projects inspired by Hundertwasser’s philosophies and the artworks on display
Connection to nature – Discover how art and the environment intertwine
This programme fosters curiosity, self-expression and a deeper connection to art and culture, all in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Where: Hundertwasser Art Centre & Wairau Māori Art Gallery
When: Mondays at 11.00 am – 12.30 am (During term time)
Who: Homeschooled tamariki aged 7–12 (flexible!)
Cost: $7 per session, per child
